Hello Beautifuls,
Chronic fatigue is an issue that comes up with many of my clients. But recently it has been astounding how many women I see that list that as their number one concern. Feeling overwhelmingly and chronically tired is a big sign that something is out of balance.
I write weekly advice posts for WAV (Women As visionaries) magazine and I addressed some of the causes and recommendations for chronic fatigue and wanted to share them with you.
I highly recommend to enlist the help of a health coach as there can be many different and complex reasons for chronic fatigue and the solution is not a quick and simple one, but an accumulations of many changes and practices.
I will be happy to support you if it is an issue for you. Please email me at contact@healthnutgirl.com if you’d like to discuss how.
Here are my 2 part chronic fatigue posts for WAV magazine, it was an answer to one of their readers that I’m sure many of you can relate to.

ASK HEALTH NUT GIRL
~By Rachel Kieffer, Nutrition And Health Coach, New York, USA
Dear Health Nut Girl,
Do you have any recommendations for overcoming chronic fatigue?
~ Cynthia
Hi Beautiful Cynthia,
Feeling chronically tired can be a sign of many health issues, please contact your Dr. for a complete check up.
If everything turns up ok, dig deeper. Your body can be manifesting this condition to send you an important massage. Create some quite time, open a journal and write:
Dear body, Why are you tired? What are you trying to tell me?
Some common reasons I see for chronic fatigue are:
~ An inability to say no, so your body says no by being debilitatingly tired.
~ Having an intolerable situation in your life that needs to be resolved.
~ A past trauma that is surfacing to be seen and healed.
Write down whatever comes to mind, be open to see more that meets the eye and Fall In Love With A Healthy Life.
xoxo Rachel
PART TWO
ASK HEALTH NUT GIRL
~By Rachel Kieffer, Nutrition And Health Coach, New York, USA
Dear Health Nut Girl,
Do you have any recommendations for overcoming chronic fatigue?
~ Cynthia
Hi Beautiful Cynthia,
After exploring internal reasons for chronic fatigue look at external practices that are draining vs restoring your energy.
Things that deplete you:
~Too much time in front of screens
~Staying indoors
~Processed and refined foods, especially sugar, flour, caffeine and alcohol
~Doing the wrong exercise for you
Things that restore you:
~Time in nature
~Spiritual practices like meditation and prayer
~Journaling
~Whole foods, especially leafy green vegetables, root vegetables and homemade broths
~Sleep
~Yoga
Start with one or two practices that you feel drawn to and Fall In Love With A Healthy Life.
xoxo Rachel
